A craft carried through generations

For Artūrs Burinskis, furniture-making is more than a profession. His grandparents had spent many years fulfilling furniture commissions, passing on a respect for careful work and the value of making something to last.

That family history became the starting point for a new idea: to bring skilled professionals together and build a company where traditional craftsmanship could meet a thoughtful, contemporary approach.

Artūrs set out to gather a professional team with complementary skills and a shared commitment to quality. Together, the team would create upholstered furniture, restore well-loved pieces and give every commission the attention it deserves.

That vision became Vecsēta: a place where experience, design and hands-on craft work together from the first conversation to the finished piece.

Today, Vecsēta brings together bespoke upholstered furniture and restoration. The work continues to grow, guided by the same belief that a good piece should be made with care and shaped around the people who will use it.

The next chapter includes plans to expand into cabinet furniture, broadening the possibilities while staying true to the craftsmanship at the heart of the company.
